Are you aware that over 80% of fires in the home are caused by faulty or
improperly installed electrical?
Are you aware that on average more than 70% of so called contractors in
your area are NOT formerly trained, licensed or certified at all? Therefore,
NOT legally eligible to perform any services for you involving electrical,
plumbing, heating and air, framing/building, and so on?
Are you aware that even legal contractors are NOT required by the State
of Georgia to carry insurance of any kind? Pretty scary isn’t it? Especially
in light of the fact that you are responsible for any injuries or accidents if
they are not insured!
Electrical Contractors as well as Plumbing Contractors, Heating & Air (HVAC) Contractors and as of 2008 General Contractors must be State Certified and Licensed. That is in addition to having a County Business License to do business; required by every type of business located in a specific County.
Your insurance company often looks for reasons not to pay a claim. Using unqualified personnel is illegal and a valid reason to reject your claim when needed the most.
Most important, it is literally the well-being of your family that you are putting in the hands of ANY contractor you allow into your lives. Or perhaps into your place of business.
